McInnes Rolled Rings is in the final commissioning stages of the new RAW 160/160 Radial Axial ring rolling machine. Beginning on April 16^th , McInnes will begin to quote on larger than 72 inch OD rings and rings that weigh more than 1700 lbs. At that time we will begin to offer 3-4 week deliveries on all rings as both mills will be fully operational.

Stay tuned and keep your eyes on your mail box for the revised capability charts for the new mill. Rings up to 144” OD with a max. weight of 5000 lbs. will be our new size range starting on April 16^th.

Update on the new rolled ring mill at McInnes Rolled Rings

• Present Size range with Wagner RAW 63/63

• • 50-1700 pounds
  • 1.00 – 10.00” thick
  • 10” to 72” OD
  • Present forging press 1200 ton

• New Size Range with Wagner RAW 160/160
  • Max of  8000 lbs. carbon, alloy and stainless steel
  • Up to 24.00 “ thick
  • Max of 144 “ in diameter
  • All sizes and weighs will be dependent on both geometry and material grade
  • New Erie Forge Press 3500 ton

You can check out the progress on this major project at the “Media Gallery” @ www.mcinnesrolledrings.com. In just 16 weeks we will begin to start producing rings on the new mill.  This is as of December 14, 2011.

Update on the new rolled ring mill
 All of the buildings are complete and all equipment has either been installed or will be installed in the next few weeks
 The Ring Mill is on site and we will begin trail runs in the next 60 days
 We will start quoting rolled rings produced off the new mill in March 2012
 First shipments of rolled ring forgings produced on the new mill will be second quarter 2012
